The Power To Affect Change
Our team works tirelessly to develop programs that result in meaningful change. And that change is what leads us step by step into a brighter future.
Our Work
The following are just a few examples of what we do and how we have helped animals and their human caretakers. There are too many to list here, but these will give you an idea of what we do.
We helped supply food for a veteran’s therapy cat until he could get a job and have enough money for her food and litter.
We helped a low-income man spay his dog, so he could stay in the assisted living apartment he was in. We have helped with food for another veteran for his dog and cat.
We have found homes for several cats and dogs that were left on the side of the road or found in the woods near our ranch.
We found two goats in the woods that someone had let go in hopes they would be eaten by a cougar, and we gave them a new home where they would be safe and have the job of keeping grass and bushes down.
We have taken in two kittens that were “dropped off” in the woods when they were only a few weeks old, and they now have a home with us. We took in two baby goats, one was so starved it took two weeks sleeping with her and force-feeding her to make her live.
The other goat was a triplet and was only a pound and a half at birth and needed extra attention. These two goats are part of our ranch family now and are doing well.
These are just a few of the animals we have helped and are continuing to help. We help post other animals who need homes, and we help with shots and transportation when we can.
Being proactive is a big part of what we do, and it keeps us very busy. We will keep animals if we can’t find a home for them or if they have been too physically or emotionally abused, and we think it’s best for them to stay with us.
Right now, the ranch has full-time residences of six cats, two dogs, and two goats, where they will live out their lives in love and peace.
